Writer calls out “daredevil armed robbers” who robbed him while he was recuperating from an illness as he tracks one of them

A writer has called out a man who is using his stolen phone days after he was robbed in Awka, Anambra State.

 

Odega Shawa said he was battling a life-threatening illness when armed robbers stormed the house he was in on May 20 and carted away his valuables, including two smart phones,  a power charger, laptop and over N40,000 in cash.

 

He said he eventually tracked the Samsung phone using SmartFind.

 

He traced the phone’s location to Onitsha and later to Awka.

 

He then noticed that a new sim card had been inserted into the phone and it was registered to a certain OG Ebuka.

 

He said he sent a message and then called the person using his phone on May 22.

 

The man admitted he was using the Samsung Galaxy A71 and Odega told him the phone was stolen and urged him to return it. Odega also agreed to pay him for the phone.

 

However, since Odega made the call, the line has not been reachable.

 

Calling for help to find the man with the phone, Odega wrote: “Who is OG EBUKA with the phone number 08140247731. 

 

“See screenshots for his WhatsApp profile. It is a business profile. 

 

“Do you know him? Do you have his number on your phone? Do you do business with OG EBUKA? Do you know where we can see him? Please tell us in the comment section. All I want is my stuff back.”
