Sheikh Ibrahim Daurawa has returned to his position as Commandant General of Kano State Hisbah Board after settlibg his scores with Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.
Daily Trust reported that in spite of resigning from the position via video on social media, Daurawa did not formally resign in writing to the appropriate authority.
After a meeting with Governor Yusuf on Monday night, it’s been gathered that the Hisbah boss will resume office on Tuesday, March 5.
It was also gathered that ‘Zauren Hadin Kan Malamai’, a delegation of well-respected Islamic clerics was sent to Daurawa to pacify him to return to his position as Hisbah boss.
The Speaker, Kano State House of Assembly, Jibril Falgore and the Chief Imam of National Mosque, Abuja, Sheikh Ibrahim Maqari were equally sent by the government to meet him.
