Reno Omokri took to his IG page this morning to hail Northern Muslims after a Nigerian man recounted how a cement seller in Kano made refunds to him after price of cement crashed hours after he paid.
Abdulrasak Rago in a post shared on Facebook recounted how he went to purchase cement from a seller at N8, 200 per bag, He said he later got a call from the seller saying the price of the cements have reduced to N7800 per bag and that he has N400 refunds to give to him on each bag, Rago added that the bags of cemenet he purchased were still with the seller at the time the prices dropped.
Reacting to the story, Reno wrote
‘’eople familiar with Northern Nigeria, especially the Muslim core North, will not be surprised by this. The level of honesty amongst ordinary Northerners is pure, innocent and undefiled. Even until today. For the most part, they do not have that dirty ‘sense’ which some particular Southerners have. Their love for God and humanity exceeds their desire to make money.
If you like, insult me, I will still tell the truth. Or am I lying?”
