A female lecturer at the University of Delta State was filmed scolding a female student for dressing inappropriately.
In the video, the student is seen wearing a black top and dark blue jeans that covered every part of her body.
However, the lecturer took issues with her long braids and eye shadow, and began scolding her publicly, in the presence of other students and lecturers.
The lecturer is seen telling the student to pack her hair up to make it shorter.
She added, “And look at your eye. Even this eye, in fact, where is the Dean of this faculty? Where is the Dean of this faculty?”
As the lecturer asked for the Dean, she is seen looking around in search of the Dean.
Other lecturers gather and begin asking the student, “Which department are you?”
A male lecturer identified as the Dean then came forward and repeatedly asked the student who let her in at the gate looking like that.
“Keep tying that hair. Keep tying that hair,” the first female lecturer who started the scolding told the student.
After the student was done tying up her hair, the female lecturer told the Dean to take the student to the counselling unit to be counselled.
The Dean then pointed out that the student is also wearing slippers and it is not allowed, but the female lecturer told the Dean to forget about the slippers and focus on the eye shadow.
“This eye shadow is not allowed here,” the woman told the Dean and the student.
The Dean eventually walked away with the student in tow.
