Bandits kill two residents, abduct 16 in Kaduna community

Bandits killed two residents and abducted 16 others in Gidan Busa village in Doka ward, Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State. 

A resident, Musa Ibrahim, who confirmed the incident on Saturday, February 24, 2024, said that the bandits invaded the community at about 11:30pm on Friday, shooting indiscriminately. 

According to him, five people sustained serious injuries and are currently receiving treatment in a medical facility.

“At the residence of one Alhaji Hassan, the bandits abducted eight persons, including his wife and children. They also killed one of his boys and a woman. Those who sustained gunshot wounds are receiving treatment in the hospital,” he said.
