Hunger everywhere – Staunch Buhari and APC supporter laments months after he said “N700 per litre of petrol is affordable. Any patriot will be happy with it”

Sirajo Saidu, one of the staunch supporters of former president, Muhammadu Buhari and APC, has lamented over the current hardship in the country, saying that the Muslim-Muslim ticket is a political deception.

Saidu stated this in a series of Facebook posts a few months after he said N700 per litre of Premium Motor Spirit, popularly called petrol, is very affordable, following the hike in the pump price of petrol by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited and other oil marketers across the country.

“Hunger everywhere in Nigeria. May God bring us help,” he wrote.

“Muslim-Muslim ticket is just political deception.” 

“May Allah reward the poor masses of Nigeria for what the government of Muslims has done to them.”

“The poor masses of Nigeria. Please give your cooperation. Change Muslim-Muslim in 2027,”

Recall that Saidu had publicly dumped Buhari after bandits kidnapped his five brothers in Sokoto State and no one helped him and his family members to raise the ransom. 

However, he later took to Facebook to reiterate his support for Buhari, vowing that only death will separate him from the former President.
