Mixed reactions have started trailing a trending video where Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke refuses to shake hands with the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja.
In the video making the rounds on social media platforms, Governor Ademola Adeleke initially ignores shaking hands with the foremost Yoruba Monarch and went on to greet others.
Moment later, a clearer video shows that Governor Adeleke went back to shake hands with Ooni of Ife and headed to his seat.
The viral video has triggered several reactions among social media users while many accuses the the state governor of berating the Ooni of Ife, others claims that it might be an oversight as he might not have seen the royal king.
Some also defended Governor Ademola Adeleke as they tackled the Ooni of Ife for stretching his hands adding that it high time he needed to start respecting himself as a king.
Also in reaction to the video, some said that they are cool with each other since the Governor went back to greet the Ooni Ife, while others disclosed that the full video didn’t change any narrative as something is still not right between them.
