President Muhammadu Buhari arrived in Abuja this afternoon after a private trip to London, United Kingdom, according to Bashir Ahmad, the President’s Personal Assistant.
As he descended from his plane, he shared photos of the president being welcomed by military officers.
Before his departure, the presidency clarified that Buhari’s trip to the United Kingdom was not on an emergency basis and that the Nigerian leader was not ill, assuaging critics’ fears that the 78-year-old was unwell.
